Mysterious
Yesterday morning I wrote a brief post entitled "Manifest Destiny".
I posted it, then realised I had doubled up a phrase in one sentence. I went to edit it using Blogger and couldn't find it in the editing facility (it was showing up on the blog.). So I tried to edit it using W.Bloggar, which is what I wrote it on. It didn't show up anywhere there, either (still showing on the blog).
Nevermind, I'll fix it tomorrow, I thought. So this morning after checking that the post was still showing, I put up some easy crap, just to move the post lower down the order - no, I don't know why that would make any difference. Then I tried to edit it again and I still couldn't find it. Then I refreshed the page to check this morning's post and guess what?
Yesterdays post doesn't show up any more. I'm out of tinfoil - anybody know what else I can use to make a helmet.

I first compose in a word document in case something goes wrong. Anyway Dirk, piss Blogger off - you deserve better.
what else can you use without losing the blogspot address?
Rat, I'd recommend Typepad with it's free trial and basic entry level. Regarding the Blogspot URL you may be able to set up a pointing domain to the new URL. Otherwise retain current blog title and notify folks via a dormant post on blogspot. If all else fails one can be found via Google.
Adrian,
I'm well aware of your pathological hatred of Blogger, but I don't think this particular instance is Blogger's fault; I didn't compose the post on Blogger, but on W.Bloggar, an independent program. It disappeared from there at the same time.
Also free trials are good - until the trial period expires.
