Some people can write a new post everyday without really trying. Nothing much may have happened in their day, or in the world; still they churn out post after post of eminently readable material.
I'm fucked if I know how they do that.
I've got shitloads going on in my life, I'm finding the world a fascinating place, but I got nuthin'.

Besides, I have shitloads of stories from the ten years I was a cop in Philadelphia that I haven't even touched on yet...

Yep... I know exactly what you mean.
I think maybe it just ebbs and flows... some days there's nothing, but you sure make up for it when there is something :)

I have this problem as well, but I like to post every day if possible, so I fill up the blank minded days with photo's of semi-dressed possibly lesbian pop stars.
Well, it works for me anyway.
So true... but why do we stress ourselves over it? Fans will always come back, regardless if you've updated or not.
Just write when you fancy it. Sometimes its great, sometimes its shite. As long as you're happy with it, it's cool.

It depends on why you blog. I think that reducing it to a routine chore would take away most of the enjoyment for me.
Interesting dilemma, regular posting. I'm of the view nothing turns on it, so long as what you post inspires you. I reckon if you're not inspired, don't worry, have a break. Strangely, when I don't post for a few days my hits increase !?
