    Cheerleader Porn

Following a recent discussion in the pub, I had cause to embark on my first ever porn trawling expedition. Now, I've had occasion to have an occasional glance at pictorial representations of consenting adults poking their parts at each other, but porn has never really rowed my boat; if I ever get the urge to throw myself around the lounge room (which is rarely) I like to believe that I have enough memories of actual events to think about without resorting to google-searching for inspiration.
Be that as it may, my little research expedition taught me a few things.
    1. People have very diverse opinions on what constitutes 'sexy'. Myself, I think a lot of these things constitute waste disposal, but hey, who am I to judge?
    2. Some of these opinions are somewhat disturbing - promoting incest as stimulating is a bit scary, to say the least. Seventy year-old ladies are nice, too, but I don't particularly want to... well you get the idea.
    3. Anybody who can't find child pornography on the net probably can't find the 'on' button. See, there are these sites that have lots of photos illustrating the various categories of porn that they have linked to. Every single one of them, bar none, had photos of girls who could not possibly have been close to the age of consent. In fact some of them looked like they had yet to reach double figures. Most of these pictures were of the girl alone, but when there was someone else in the photo (particularly with the very young girls) it was always a grey-haired old man. I wasn't game to take my 'research' further because I didn't want to be caught up in some international sting so I don't know what is going on at the sites they are promoting, but I doubt it is very tasteful.

Now, what I'd like to know is, how do these people get away with it? These are not 'secret' sites where you have to be able to sneak under the radar to access them. These sites leap out in front of you whether you're looking for them or not. Surely they must come to the attention of whoever it is that looks after these things. I may be (am) naive, but I'm not fuckin' stupid, the technology exists, surely, to find these people. Or at least block their sites. I mean, if you block them often enough, it must become uneconomical to keep opening them.

Apart from all that, how could you possibly find that sort of shit exciting? I reckon I'm pretty open-minded, I very rarely get cranky at anybody and I'm certainly tolerant of other people's foibles and opinions, but these people are sick cunts. I'd like to personally kill all of them. Slowly.

Guess that makes me a sicko, too. Aah well.

Which reminds me of a (very old) joke:

Two social workers are walking down the street when they hear moans coming from up an alley. Going to investigate, they find a businessman who has been mugged. His face is bloody. His suit is ripped and torn. He is barely conscious. The first social worker turns to the second social worker and says "Wow, whoever did this really needs our help!"

    Another comment by Hooch:

LOL Pleased to see you're not shying away from the tough topics!

Sexuality is an odd one. What does it for some people most definitely
    doesn't for others. I'm hoping when I'm 70 there'll at least be another 70
year old that'll still find me a little hot to trot (shit, what am I saying,
I hope for that at 36! (no, not the 70yo, just another 36yo)... sorry,
    wandered off for a moment.

Kiddie porn. Revolting betrayal of trust. But then there is the flip side.
While we abhor paedophiles and communities become lynch mobs at the mere
mention of sexual offenders, we at the same time condone the sexualising of
younger and younger children through the media. Child models become the
flavour... dressed up to look sexually knowledgeable and yet still
childlike. And adult models are chosen for their narrow boy/child-like hips
and pixie faces. Kids are bombarded over their wheet-bix with images of
their pop idols gyrating and thrusting and dropping to their knees. Of
course they imitate them. We all did, it just seems that the market is now
completely flooded with these images so there's no space for kids to just be
    kids, not pseudo-adults.

And then, where does this leave those who have a predilection for children.
What mixed message does it send to them. Already fucked up, the introduction
of the internet has made every nasty little rock spider feel like they are a
part of a community that not only acknowledges, but openly supports what
they are. Regardless of whether it is software manipulation or not... once
it becomes acceptable on some level in that person's mind, then surely it's
    an easier next step.

We can't have it both ways. We can't use all these sexualised images to sell
products to 8 and 9 year olds and then complain that they have become
    objects for sexual gratification.

Of course I know that this is just the skimming of the surface, that it
doesn't explain raping 12 month old babies or toddlers. Even typing those
words made me want to gag.

I wish there were easy answers. I wish every one of us could have had an
idyllic childhood. I wish that we could all be safe from one another.

well... on that high note, I'm off to work.

    cheers,

    Hooch.

There are times when I feel that I am fairly intelligent and times when I feel inadequate. Read the two previous comments and see one is more likely at the moment.

Hooch is on the money. The sexualisation of children in mainstream media is the problem. How can we as a society decry kiddie porn when we consume it over dinner in a sanitised form. No one ever addresses this blatant hyprocrisy.

Dirk, visiting those sites leaves a footprint on your hard drive which cannot be erased short of taking it out and burning it in a windrow. Still, a worthwhile post.
    Cheers, Jafa.
